Description

Collaborating with consumer product goods and homeware brands, the team innovated a new mobile AR capability taking advantage of multiple cameras tracking depth via parallax, which allowed users to estimate “true scale” relative to tracking points from the camera. We integrated this capability to AR Ads for the Facebook feed and created “Try At Home” AR filters for ads on Facebook. Our goal was to supercharge the AR for business ecosystem by investing in this two-sided market - empowering AR creators to make effects at scale, and business to innovate with new modalities that reveal intent to purchase.

Role: Software Program Manager

Clients served: CB2, Walmart, West Elm, Anthropologie, Samsung

Duties included:

  • Driving product goals for computer vision team to develop real-scale measurement tracking technology, and productize for capable mobile devices

  • Drove feature development to enable third party vendors and internal teams to create 3D “container effects” for scale through the Spark AR editor

  • Coordinated between internal vendors and business development to create effects for deployment
