Description
Collaborating with make-up and eyeglasses brands, my team innovated a range of AR capabilities and optionality for the toolchain, integrated the Spark effect databases with Facebook Business platforms, and created a multitude of “Virtual Try-On” AR filters for both Instagram Shops and AR Ads. Our goal was to supercharge the AR for business ecosystem by investing in this two-sided market: empowering AR creators to make effects at scale, and businesses to innovate with new modalities that reveal intent to purchase.

Duties included:
Drove development of integration between Facebook Business Manager platform powering Instagram Shopping and AR Ads, with AR databases - Making advertising with AR possible on all Meta platforms
A/B Tested roll-out of UI for AR And “Try It On” CTAs both within product picture and on profile picture, and experimented with various entry points into Instagram Shopping modes that promoted AR
Drove feature development to enable third party vendors and internal teams to create make-up and eyeglasses effects for scale through the Spark AR editor
